Biography & Metadata

Music stolen from the Psalms to give us all a way to be more honest when we pray. These songs are written for the common man, not the professionally religious. They defy standard categorization as worship songs and they are better understood as honest musical prayers inspired by the Psalms. The first Enter The Worship Circle album was released back in 1998 and featured the hit songs I Will Not Forget You (#1 in the UK) and You Are So Good To Me–which was later re-recorded by Third Day (#1 on the CCM charts). Ben and Robin Pasley (aka 100 Portraits) produced all the albums in the series and appeared on most of them. This humble series sold over 70,000 CD’s before the advent of digital music online and now their online catalog has streamed millions. Much of its success was credited not only to the simplicity of the acoustic guitars, hand drums and live recording styles of the debut albums in the series, but also the shockingly authentic lyrics. There are now 10 albums in the series, including an amazing EP featuring the stellar talent of Karla Adolphe and Ben Pasley released in 2015.
