Inki

Inki creates music for late-night drives and the feeling of going barefoot on the dance floor. Known to her parents and the postman as Ingibjörg Friðriksdóttir, her tracks are carefully composed yet sparked by slightly overcaffeinated ideas—think subtly hip-hop-laced Scandi pop, or if James Blake and Lykke Li had a heart-to-heart in an Icelandic mountain cabin. Following the sold-out release of her debut album Thoughts Midsentence, Inki is preparing her first international tour alongside her second album, Locally Sourced. It’s emotional intimacy wrapped in junk food: small, homegrown stories of loved ones, strangers, and ghosts—like eating takeout on the floor or learning line dancing—admiring the quiet impact of everyday connections. On stage, Inki brings warmth and genuine connection; offstage, she’s probably lost in 48 browser tabs. Catch her live this November at Iceland Airwaves.
