Longboat

Igor Keller is the mastermind behind Longboat, a boundary-pushing band project that blends Keller’s singular vision with contributions from a rotating cast of live musicians. A former jazz tenor saxophonist in Seattle’s vibrant scene, Keller transitioned into pop with a flair for the unconventional. Since 2011, he’s released 32 albums exploring topics that rarely surface in mainstream music—technology, political unrest, wealth inequality (Money Trouble, 2023), and even five albums of his self-styled “electronic blues.” Averse to traditional love songs, Keller uses Longboat as a platform to challenge norms and provoke thought. His latest album, Absentia, was released in February 2026. With his signature blend of narrative depth and sonic experimentation, Keller continues to redefine what pop music can be.
