King Cappa

King Cappa is an upcoming, British artist and songwriter from the Middle East. He was born in Israel, and grew up on the border with the Gaza Strip until the age of 6. As a result of a bombing in 2008, he and his family moved to the UK. Living in Manchester, England for almost 8 years, had caused Cappa to forget his first language (Hebrew), which then caused extreme difficulty in school as he had moved back to Israel at the age of 15. He blames the difficulties of understanding his teachers on him entering the world of songwriting as he would write songs in lessons because he couldn't understand. Now 21 he is working his hardest to achieve success and a bit of change in the world. 
 Cappa was heavily influenced by rappers and musicians all over the world from various cultures and races, creating a mash up of genres throughout his own music. Inspired by legends such as Bob Marley, Tupac and Hadag Nahash, but also taking inspiration from other upcoming artists. Cappa makes songs about the good times, and the difficult times of his and other people's lives. Sometimes parties, sometimes love, and other times politics and anger, but all is felt from within him at some point.
