CynMiah never ceases to amaze people, how he is calm and well reserved but when you listen to his music, you would wanna think its a different person.
From Speed Kills, to Lost Hope then Heartbreak Hotel CynMiah bolsters a ‘SaD bOy smoove vibe’. This helps him connect with the introspective and brings them to a confident space, where he resonates well with the party animal. The irony right?
Born in the starters of the new millennial, January, 2001. Raised between the capital city of the plateau - ‘Jos’ located in the middle belt region and the southwestern region Osogbo, Osun State, Nigeria - where he was born.
Music has always been a key element in his life. From writing musical notes at the age of 6, and telling himself - ‘I have to learn the Keyboard before the age of 10’ and by 12, this kid already mastered the keys that he became a teacher. CynMiah would play the keyboard and sing simultaneously in front of the whole church, and his performances kept congregation enthralled, even at a tender age.
CynMiah has evolved, from Hip-Hop rap, to Afro-fusion and the Afroswing sub-genre. CynMiah gets inspired by anything or anyone. Some notable figures he has mentioned are Burna Boy, Young Thug & Kendrick Lamar. CynMiah is known for his lyrical prowess. “Whenever, he is in front of the mic, whether he is recording or performing you’ve got to pick lifelines from whatever he spits or sings.” - these were the words of his studio producer - ‘MIDi The Great'.
