Sunsets

Sunsets, the border-raised producer from the Mexico/US line between Tecate and San Diego and now based in Los Angeles, brings a unique genre-crossing perspective to the dance music scene. Blending the pulse of house music, the energy of disco, and the groove of funk, Sunsets creates tracks built to move dance floors while still carrying a sense of warmth and atmosphere. His sound draws from influences like Tame Impala, Justice, Kaytranada, and SG Lewis, weaving lush synth textures with basslines that stick long after the music fades. Over the past few years, Sunsets has started to make a mark on the live circuit. He performed at the Same Same But Different Festival in both 2022 and 2023, sharing the bill with headliners such as Polo & Pan, Louis the Child, Griz, Big Wild, Chromeo, Vulfpeck, and The Glitch Mob. On the recorded side, his collaborations with singer/songwriter Foreignlocal. have connected with listeners worldwide, surpassing three million streams on Spotify only and earning spots in prominent editorial playlists. Foreignlocal. also regularly joins Sunsets on stage, bringing her vocals and presence to the live show experience.
