Ka Ma

Ka Ma is a bilingual singer-songwriter blending neo-soul, jazz, R&B, world music and contemporary electronic sounds. Her music explores identity, love, freedom and human connection through a deeply personal and multicultural perspective. Trained at BIMM Music Institute in the UK, with a qualification recognised by the London College of Music, Ka Ma developed her artistic identity between Italy and the UK, drawing inspiration from artists and mentors including Lalah Hathaway, Troy Miller, Norma Winstone, Ian Shaw and Noel Robinson. Her current project, “Picasso – L’Arte di Amare,” is a concept album inspired by Pablo Picasso life, Erich Fromm and Carl Jung works, exploring the psychology of relationships, identity and transformation. The album blends soul and jazz with electronic and world-music elements, featuring instruments such as sitar, tabla and didgeridoo, alongside acclaimed musicians including Fabrizio Bosso. Ka Ma’s music has received radio and media attention in Italy and internationally, including Rai Radio, Radio Italia, Soho Radio and London One Radio, as well as features in Clash Magazine, Notion, Fame Magazine UK and Rock Italia. Her single “Fearless,” featuring Australian rapper MightyMike and sitar player Riccardo Di Gianni, reached #1 on the Euro Indie Music Chart and expanded her growing audience across the UK and Europe. Ka Ma creates music where cultures, genres and human stories meet — turning personal experience into a universal language.
