AlorG, born Alodia Kusi-Gyamfi, is a 20-year-old Ghanaian artist rapidly gaining recognition for his distinctive fusion of Afrobeats,Hip Hop and Highlife. Hailing from the West side of Africa, he channels personal experiences into his music, crafting a sound that resonates with authenticity and emotional depth. His debut EP, Down I’m A Rebel, released in 2024, showcases this approach. The eight-track project delves into themes of isolation, mental health, and resilience. Notable tracks like “Lonely and Paranoid” explore his struggles with anxiety, while the title track serves as an anthem of defiance against personal and societal challenges. The EP was produced at Pioneer 11 Studios in Accra by producers 2shuus and Sosawavegod. AlorG’s breakout moment came with the viral hit “Free My Mind,” which gained further traction with a remix featuring NSG.
