Vermin the Villain

Alternative hip-hop / jazz. Alter-ego of producer/turntablist LORD VERM. Vermin the Villain (aka LORD VERM) is an NYC based alternative hip-hop artist, producer, multi-instrumentalist, turntablist, and painter from Laredo, TX. Vermin the Villain was born on the border of Mexico and the United States to Venezuelan and Mexican parents, which has given him a unique perspective of the world as an artist that is pushing the definition of contemporary hip-hop. Suspended in Limbo, he found a sound that is truly his own. He has always held art as the highest priority in his life and his music is simply a reflection of what he is experiencing in the moment. It is a product of his environment and high technical prowess. With advanced knowledge in the sciences, he crafts music that is truly one of a kind. Vermin the Villain released, PROTOTYPE_V, an AI-inspired conceptual tape with UK producer Blck.Beetl in December 2020 via Heatwave Records. DEATHTAPE, his collaborative tape with FATHERWASP produced by LORD VERM, followed in May 2021. Next, The Romance Club self-titled project in August 2021. This was followed by a tape in 2023 entitled POWER OF TWO collaborating with 956 artist, ELAM ZULA. He released Radiovision with The Still Brothers in 2025 on Lewis Recordings. He made his U.K. Debut touring with The Still Brothers in 2023 opening up for Surprise Chef, as well as playing keys for Rollo Doherty on the Skinshape U.K. Tour of 2024.
