Biography & Metadata
South Korean singer/songwriter and keyboardist Kim Won-Pil (aka Wonpil) is best known for his contributions to the boy band Day6 and the sub-unit Even of Day. Born in Incheon to parents who ran a piano academy, Wonpil took it upon himself to learn the instrument with minimal guidance as a sign of his independence. He joined JYP entertainment as part of the JYP Trainees dance team, soon moving into the label's first band 5live, an acoustic ensemble. He went on to join Day6, spending six years with the group before forming their first sub-unit, Even of Day. His debut solo album, Pilmography, dropped in 2022. ~ Liam Martin, Rovi
