Miss the Heart

Loud, vulnerable, and emotionally explosive, Miss the Heart is a Victoria, BC alternative pop-rock duo made up of vocalist Kiarra O'Connor and drummer Michael Voytash. Blurring the line between intimate confession and full-volume chaos, the band transforms heartbreak, healing, and unapologetic feminine rage into cathartic anthems built around soaring hooks and emotionally honest songwriting. Working alongside acclaimed producer and mixer Ryan Worsley (Dear Rouge, MONOWHALES, Fake Shark), the independent duo has quickly built momentum across British Columbia. Their latest single, "Know Me Better," was selected as The Zone @91-3's July 2026 Band of the Month and landed on the Mediabase Alternative Rock Most Added chart. With growing radio support, an energetic live show, and an ambitious release schedule, Miss the Heart is emerging as one of BC's most exciting new alternative acts.
