Jordan Officer

Jordan Officer the musician, composer, singer and producer from Montreal, has carved out his signature sound, unmistakeable, whether in his own projects, his recent duo with Violette Lapierre, or albums with jazz singer Susie Arioli. Jordan was recently included among the 330 guitarists in “The Great Jazz Guitarists, The Ultimate Guide” by Scott Yanow and published by Hal Leonard, the biggest editor of sheet music and music books in the world. Jordan’s latest album, Like Never Before, his most intimate and personal album yet. « Like Never Before », as its title suggests, ushers in a new chapter in his career, where Jordan mixes folk, gospel, blues, jazz, and soul/R&B, in this musical ode to transformation and rebirth. Jordan is joined here by his long time collaborator, Alain Bergé, on drums, but also in a new and spectacular role as producer of this album. Bassist Morgan Moore, Alex McMahon and François Lafontaine on keys, and special guests Ariane Moffatt, Martha Wainwright, and Brad Barr add their incredible personality and musicality to this album.  Jordan’s most recent project, the jazz-folk-pop duo Violette & Jordan will be launching a new album in September 2026. The first single, “On Partira” is available everywhere.
