Ack Ibanez

Ack Ibanez is a Philippine-born rapper, singer, and music producer from Dipolog City, now based in the UK. Operating with complete creative autonomy, he oversees every stage of his music’s lifecycle from initial composition and sample curation to full vocal tracking, mixing, and mastering. Releasing under Rebel Doggs Records, the label he co-founded, Ack’s production style merges the raw grit of 90s boom-bap and warm lo-fi jazz textures with the heavier low-end of modern dark hip-hop. His vocal delivery moves seamlessly between sharp, introspective verses and melodic hooks, anchored by tight, purposeful arrangements. Having developed his sound through years producing for peers across the Philippine hip-hop landscape including Guddhist Gunatita, Nopetsallowed, Hero Tunguia and Luci J , Ack brings an audio engineer’s precision to an uncompromising underground sensibility. The result is a cohesive, self-contained catalog that prioritizes sonic depth, strong rhythmic foundations, and independent artistry.☮ ❤
