Monomythic

The monomyth, also known as the hero’s journey, refers to a story structure in which a character goes on an adventure and returns home with a new perspective after overcoming a decisive challenge. Las Vegas-based producer Monomythic aims to recreate a similar experience through his music, taking listeners on a genre-defying journey with emphasis on groove, atmosphere and dynamics. Multi-instrumentalist, vocalist and recovering scene kid are just a few of the various hats Monomythic wears when it comes to executing his vision, meticulously blending his tastes in metal and electronic music. Primarily influenced by metalcore, dubstep, and video game soundtracks, he emulates the surreal energy that comes with a rapidly changing, tech-driven society while maintaining the emotional complexity that encompasses the heavy music scene. Monomythic's debut album "Chaotic Era" is out now.
