Saddlepin

Saddlepin is the folk singer-songwriter project of Kevin Reyes, originally from Calbayog City and currently based in Manila, Philippines. Started in 2020, the project grew out of a love for storytelling and the quiet, complicated things that make us human. Rooted in contemporary folk, Saddlepin’s music is defined by heartfelt songwriting and honest storytelling, exploring love, loss, longing, growing up, and finding your way through life. His songs are for the things we struggle to put into words, the people who leave a mark on us, and the parts of ourselves we carry long after certain chapters have ended. Through every song, Saddlepin hopes to offer comfort in vulnerability and find hope in the things we cannot hold on to forever. For him, music has never been just about being heard. It is about making someone feel a little less alone.
