I hated growing up in a random town in Michigan thinking I wasn't enough. not chosen enough not pretty enough not girly enough not sporty enough not smart enough not loveable enough not indian enough? not american enough?? not enough of anything I guess never feeling like I truly fit into any genre, type, or friend group, relationship, etc. now I just don't care. Instead, I make music for the misfits like myself. hope it makes you feel empowered, sensual, and seen. okay now for the professional bio: Shuba is a first generation Indian-American artist fusing the likes of Bollywood into pop-rap gems. Her range of influences have stemmed from Eminem’s rapping, Ariana Grande’s catchy hooks, and Freddie Mercury’s invigorating vocals. Blending together the ethnic sounds of her Indian background with the combination of alluring vocals, well crafted lyrics, and an overall self-confident vibe, Shuba has begun showcasing her undeniable talent of rapping & singing in an authentic fashion.
