Biography & Metadata
Adi Ulmansky is a music producer, songwriter and singer, and one of the very few female producers in Israel. Adi started making music at a young age. She fell in love with sound, synthesis and production, and spent countless hours in the studio learning the craft. Her artistic story began in 2013 with a debut mixtape that she produced, wrote, recorded and mixed herself. The mixtape drew attention from the global music industry and was featured on Jay-Z’s Life+Times blog and in magazines such as The Fader and Mixmag. Adi toured Europe and the U.S. and opened for Major Lazer, Jason Derulo, Kelis, Kate Tempest, Sofi Tukker, Ibeyi and more. She has collaborated with artists such as Borgore, Michael Swissa, DOR3 and Avraham Tal. Her debut album Bad Intentions, especially the song “Sex in My Mind”, landed on several high-profile Spotify playlists, and the songs “Bombs Away” and “Snow” reached GLGLZ’s daily playlist. For over a decade Adi has been creating in Hebrew, writing and producing hip-hop and R&B for her own albums, 2AM and ׳Mechavenet LaRosh׳, and for other artists. Her songs “Perach BaMidbar”, “Eich LeEhov Oti” and “Tzricha Shtagid Li” were featured on GLGLZ’s playlist. Together with Tuna she released four songs: “Rotzchim Milida”, “Photoshop”, “Hakol Ze BaTzevet” and “Guf”. She also collaborated with Cohen, Peled and Shekel, and is a lecturer in music production and Ableton at Rimon School of Music and at leading music production colleges across Israel.
