Biography & Metadata

Once dubbed a trouble magnet and lipgloss legend of the post-noughties international party circuit, Heidi West now finds herself remixing more than just tracks. The Berlin-based mother has channelled the glitter-dusted memories of Mykonos beach clubs, dimly lit Parisian lounges, and the hedonistic labyrinths of London and Ibiza into something deeper: a personal, pulsating sound rooted in minimal techno with glimmers of disco decadence. Her transition from VIP velvet ropes to vintage synth knobs isn’t merely stylistic — it’s existential. “Motherhood rewired me,” she says. “But it also reconnected me.” And in that reconnection, West found rhythm. Drawing from the muscle memory of countless sunrises on foreign dancefloors, her debut EP feels like the elegant ghost of a bygone nightlife, reassembled through Berlin’s stark, industrial lens. Don’t mistake her for a dilettante dabbling in nostalgia. Heidi West’s approach is precise, deliberate, and simmering with late-night cool. If her early 2010s persona shook the clubs, her music now reimagines them — darker, wiser, but no less ready to move. Follow Heidi as she continues to blur the lines between memory and movement. Something tells us this is just the warm-up. ~ Neal Dean
