J Traxx

J Traxx was born and raised in East St. Louis, IL. J Traxx is a producer, writer, keyboard player, performer, and engineer. Since the age of 7, J Traxx started as a piano player and participated in plays at the community church. At age 13 J Traxx was picked from hundreds of kids to personally perform for Oprah Winfrey and Laura Bush during a gospel fest in Ohio. Having opened for artists such as Birdman, Nelly, T-Pain, Young Jeezy, Too Short, and Lil Webbie, J Traxx has perfected his craft and enjoys performing as another way to have fun with life. "I feel no pressure when I'm on stage and producing does the same thing for me emotionally." J Traxx's influences are: God first, his dearly departed Mother, and his father. J Traxx's biggest musical influence is Michael Jackson and others include: Busta Rhymes, Lil Jon, T-Pain, Nelly, Nas, Chris Brown, Usher, and Ne-Yo. Bringing all genres together.
