Koreless

Koreless is the moniker of Welsh artist, producer, composer and performer Lewis Roberts. After a series of startling early releases, including his debut EP - 4D - in 2011, Koreless began working with London-based label Young, releasing work with Sampha and the influential "Yūgen" EP later that year. While developing his debut album, he engaged in various collaborations: touring worldwide with his A/V show ‘The Well’ with Emmanuel Biard, and spending 18 months working with FKA twigs on her acclaimed Magdalene album. He also reimagined Britten's "Moonlight" interlude and created remixes for Perfume Genius and Caribou. His debut album Agor arrived a full decade after his first single, receiving widespread critical acclaim ("a simply breathtaking debut" - The Quietus). Following this, Koreless retreated from London to the Welsh countryside, finding renewed freedom and inspiration. This fresh perspective led to experimentation with new chords, beats, and instruments, culminating in the "Deceltica" EP. Though this marked Roberts’ first solo music in over two years, Koreless remained active during that time through collaborations. He composed the original score for Thomas Hardiman's film MEDUSA DELUXE and worked with choreographers Sharon Eyal and Gai Behar on "Into The Hairy,”. Koreless continued his longstanding partnership with FKA twigs, building on his work on Magdalene and CAPRISONGS, on her new album EUSEXUA, on which he was the executive producer.
