Eemrun

Eemrun, is a genre-blurring artist from Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia whose music lives between vulnerability and vision. With roots in hip-hop and R&B, he began crafting songs at just 13, long before anyone was listening, using music as a quiet refuge for emotions he couldn’t always say aloud. In 2021, he introduced himself with “Emosi”, a heartfelt release inspired by his personal loss. The track marked his first step into the commercial space under Universal Music Malaysia, though he later chose independence, an artistic decision that let him create without compromise. As part of the MIDLYFE collective and LAMPU BIRU movement, Eemrun weaves his voice among a growing tapestry of local talent, shaping a sound that’s rooted in Malaysia but speaks beyond borders. Unfiltered yet intentional, Eemrun continues to carve his lane, an artist in control of his narrative, telling stories that move in silence and echo in the hearts of a generation.
