Hello, my dear friends. In the last few years, I have become more and more closed. Not only in a psychological way, but also in a literal, social way. Almost all the time, I am sitting at home, in my room, and usually making music. Honestly, I'm almost accustomed, or just resigned. Not sure about it. Anyway, I am here with my new music, so let me say a few words about it. I wrote this album with one very specific picture/feeling inside of my head. It's like I am sitting in front of a huge aquarium, a lot of different fish swimming back and forth, and algae slightly waving. Water is crystal-clear. Since they are fish, I can only hear the sound of bubbles that are rushing from the tiny tube of the compressor that is pumping air into the water. Incredibly calm and almost meditative action. The longer I sit staring at them behind that waterproof glass box, the more my understanding of my place in this anxious world disappears... Who is actually in the aquarium, they are, or I am? That's the real question here. My name is Yurii Popov. 58918012 is my electronic / ambient / dark ambient / experimental music project. I am a musician from Ukraine. You are in the place where I release my brain and transform the inner vibes into sound waves. Follow me if you like the way it sounds.
