Matt Sour

Matt Sour creates intimate piano music for deep focus, late-night listening, and quiet reflection. Centered around the warm, muted sound of felt piano, his compositions blend elements of modern classical, ambient, and contemporary production into a minimalist musical language. His short-form pieces are designed to create atmosphere rather than demand attention—soundtracks for reading, studying, working, dreaming, and the moments in between. Influenced by the simplicity of ambient music and the emotional directness of modern genres, Matt Sour's work embraces restraint, allowing space, silence, and subtle melodies to speak for themselves.
