Nyquan Malphurs, known professionally as Wooh Da Kid, is an American rapper hailing from Atlanta, Georgia. Born in Queens, New York, on February 23, 1985, he relocated to the south and became deeply embedded in the burgeoning trap music scene of Atlanta. He is the older brother of fellow rapper Waka Flocka Flame. Wooh Da Kid rose to prominence as a key member of Gucci Mane's 1017 Brick Squad and Waka Flocka Flame's Brick Squad Monopoly. His association with these influential crews solidified his position in the Atlanta hip-hop landscape. His mother, Debra Antney, a prominent figure in the music industry who managed the careers of both Gucci Mane and her son Waka Flocka Flame, also played a significant role in his early career. His musical style is characterized by energetic delivery and street-centric lyrics, often collaborating with acclaimed producers such as Zaytoven, Southside, and Lex Luger. Throughout his career, Wooh Da Kid has released a number of mixtapes that have been well-received within the underground circuit. His projects often feature collaborations with his brother Waka Flocka Flame and other members of the Brick Squad collective.
