Hostile Array

Hailing from the heart of Central Maryland, Hostile Array emerged onto the scene in 2017 with roots planted firmly in the soil of post-hardcore. In their early days, the five-piece delivered a raw and politically charged sound—channeling societal unrest through heavy instrumentation and impassioned vocals. While their foundational sound drew inspiration from pioneers of their respective genres, the band’s path was defined by constant growth and evolution. Hostile Array's 2023 EP, "Trauma," marked a significant shift to a polished, modern metal sound with lyrics exploring mental health and religious trauma. The acclaimed release garnered praise from fans and critics, establishing a new foundation for the band in emotive metalcore. In 2024, Hostile Array continued their creative momentum with their follow-up EP, “Underneath.” This release further built upon the more refined sound they had become known for, adding another layer to their expanding sonic tapestry.  With their latest singles, "Prey" and "Bitter Pill," Hostile Array expertly blends the melodic aggression of their earlier work with the polished production of their more recent material. Emotionally charged and sonically bold, the tracks prove the band can evolve while retaining their impactful ferocity.
