Kabysh

Kabysh is a Haitian singer-songwriter whose work bridges Haitian musical traditions and contemporary Afrodiasporic aesthetics. His collaboration with ManitoNation led to the exploration of raratech, a creative fusion of rara heritage and electronic soundscapes. A member of Boukman Eksperyans since 2019 and co-founder of the collective GWOLOBO, he views music as a space for memory, cultural transmission, and transformation. With the release of his debut EP Syèl Kase in 2023, he fully established the artistic identity of Sanba 2.0, a vision that roots Haitian traditions in the present while projecting them into the future through new sounds and forms of expression.
