Biography & Metadata

Ashton Love, hailing from Scotland, started producing music in 2009, experimenting with styles such as Hip Hop, Rap & R&B. It wasn’t until 2012 where he switched to house music. “It was guys like Alesso and Avicii back in 2012 that really got me into producing dance music, the sound and the energy in their tracks mixed with the melodies made me fall in love with that style instantly.” Fast forward to 2019, with his first single ‘Chances’ already surpassing 1,700,000 streams on Spotify alone, the Scot’s follow-up singles ‘Sober’ and ‘Eyes On You’ are enjoying similar success, lifting Ashton into the spotlight of a lot of eyes and ears within the music industry. Ashton’s sound consists of energetic pianos, lush synths and memorable melodies that have you whistling in your head all day, and after a catalogue of successful releases with stylistically varied sound, expect anything that could range from warm pop to outright melodic house bangers. “My sound is inspired by a lot of UK artists such as Rudimental, Jonas Blue and Sigala to name a few, a lot of acoustic instruments mixed with an electronic sound is what I love,” says Ashton.
