JMB

JMB is a Lagos, Nigeria-based emerging artist who blends a handful of genres into her musical style. She grew up with music around her and consciously started making music at age 14 and later formed an all-girl group called CCC( Cori, Cookie and Choco ) with her friends. Her musical style ranges from rap to alternative RnB, Gospel and Afrofusion and is inspired by the likes of Nicki Minaj, Ed Sheeran, Olamide, Stormzy, J Cole and Tiwa Savage; one can see how diverse her taste is as she often employs a vast variety of rap cadences, and melodic tones in her music with the core theme revolving around her experience as a young woman trying to find her footing in a crazy world. She has yet to put out a full-length project but she is currently working and collaborating with producers and fellow artists.
