Barkin is a New York-born DJ and producer whose journey into dance music started from the crowd. After attending his first festival, EDC New York, he became obsessed with the energy, connection, and escapism that dance music creates. What began as a dream of one day standing on those stages led him to enroll at Icon Collective in 2020, where he dedicated himself to turning that vision into reality. Today, Barkin channels that same festival energy into his signature blend of powerful, groove-driven Tech House and Bass House. Whether through his music, performances, or social content, his mission remains simple: create moments that make people forget their worries and lose themselves on the dance floor. His music has earned releases on Dim Mak, Hexagon, 2Dutch, Blanco y Negro, Mixa, Liftoff, and more, while receiving support from artists including Steve Aoki, Don Diablo, Walker & Royce, Dr. Fresch, Lukas & Steve, and The Disco Fries. Barkin has performed at some of New York’s most notable venues, including direct support for Galantis, Jauz, Jonas Blue, Sam Feldt, and Bijou. With upcoming appearances at High Tide Music Festival and Breakaway NYC, he continues to build momentum as one of New York’s rising dance music talents.
