Spencer Annis

Spencer Annis is an independent artist, worship leader, and producer based in Charlotte, North Carolina. His mission as an artist is to give listeners a clearer picture of Christ’s love for them and glorify his Creator in the process. Spencer’s first full-length release, Author, came out back in 2020. The self-produced record was followed up in 2021 by Safe Place, a project that includes a guest appearance from Christian soul artist Trulah. In the second half of 2021, Spencer got to work on creating intimate, stripped-down versions of the tracks from Safe Place. This EP features a collaboration with fellow artist Ben Potter. In 2022, Spencer began his partnership with Integrity Music for the release of In the Upper Room. Co-produced by Benja Schick, and Joshua Sosin, this sonically diverse album became Spencer’s most-streamed project to date. The next year, Spencer explored new sounds and lyrical themes with the singles “Notice,” “Yeshua,” and “Holy Like You” featuring Christian Singleton. “Notice” was a finalist in the International Songwriting Competition for the Christian category. Spencer’s more recent work includes the 2024 single “Inheritance,” a collab with indie Christian duo OAKS, and the 2025 Forever Communion EP, a three-song project recorded with creative partners Benja Schick and Joshua Sosin. In 2025, Spencer relocated from Virginia to Charlotte, North Carolina, where he works as a mix engineer and is working on promotion of his latest full-length LP.
