Jakspin

Jakspin is a producer, multi-instrumentalist and author from Cologne, Germany. Starting out as a DJ at 15, he quickly moved into music production, developing a sound that draws from jazz, neo-soul, lo-fi beats, 90s hip-hop and 70s disco funk - rooted in authentic musicality rather than trend-chasing. His work has accumulated millions of streams on Spotify and Apple Music, with regular editorial playlist placements on both platforms since 2019. Standout releases include "One For Roy," a collaboration with Australian flugelhorn player Harrison Smith, crossing into genuine jazz territory and showcasing his range beyond the lo-fi beat scene.
