Mager BooBoo

Mager BooBoo’s Altpop/Indie/Altrock/Artrock/Comedy music explores themes of what it means to be human in the modern world in a style which the artist likes to call “Heavy Irony”. It is bare bones rock music (just vocals, electric guitars, bass, and rock drums) harnessing the raw angst suffered from humanity’s follies with a humorous twist. Robert Bachtell Eastland, the artist behind the name Mager BooBoo, writes the lyrics and music, sings all the vocals, plays all bass and guitar parts, and programs the drum machine (DMD Logic Pro) for all songs. His past musical career includes work in musical theatre, radio, TV (Cowboy Who?), and in the band 101 with his brother, Tom Eastland. Robert Bachtell Eastland is a 63 year-old Canadian expat artist currently living in Thailand and is teaching English at Mahasarakham University.
