Maxence Cyrin

French pianist and composer Maxence Cyrin returns with PRESAGE, his new album for Warner Classics, due for release on 26 February 2027, with a first single arriving this autumn. Built around ten original pieces, PRESAGE brings together solo piano, cello duets, trio and string orchestra. Moving from simple, repetitive motifs to long melodic lines, the album gives the strings an increasingly central role, creating a dialogue in which the piano can lead, recede and re-emerge. Cyrin first gained international recognition with Novö Piano (2010), an album reimagining iconic songs from pop culture for solo piano. His version of the Pixies’ “Where Is My Mind?” received a triple Diamond export certification in France and was featured in numerous films and television series, including The Leftovers and Mr. Robot. Since joining Warner Classics with Aurora, Cyrin has increasingly focused on his own compositions, notably with Melancholy Island (2022) and Springsong (2023).
