After playing on the Grammy winning CD "Mamblue" Wayne released his debut album “Spicy" which produced five #1 singles on SmoothJazz.com's world listener chart, appeared on Billboard's Most Added Chart, and placed him on many of the top 100 contemporary jazz charts. Recently passing over 1 million streams on Spotify, Wayne is excited to release his next single entitled “Julieta”. Out on streaming October 24, 2025! Wayne wrote “Julieta” some years back while sitting at a piano in the lobby of a hotel on the beautiful island of Curaçao. At the time, Wayne was on tour with Grammy winning Cuban popstar Willy Chirino and was inspired by the stunning view from the island. “Julieta” is a Latin flavored ballad written in the style of a bolero featuring Wayne's beautiful alto sax playing accompanied by his amazing band. This wonderful recording transports you musically to the enchanting island of Curaçao so you can relax and soak up the vibes. Wayne has performed with such artists as Paul Brown, Steve Oliver, Nathan East, Nestor Torres, Arturo Sandoval, Dave Valentin, Brendan Rothwell, Rob Zinn, Peet Project, and Ed Calle and has appeared in jazz festivals in California and Florida.
