Video Store

Video Store is a Rotterdam-based band channeling the raw energy of indie rock, emo, and alt-punk. Formed from the ashes of several well-known local projects), the group unites seasoned musicians driven by a shared passion for honest, guitar-heavy music. Their sound sits comfortably in the lineage of The Replacements, Hüsker Dü, Superchunk, and mid-’90s Midwestern emo — melodies with urgency, lyrical emotional weight, noise with restraint. After a period of radio silence, Video Store returns with new material that reaffirms their place in Rotterdam’s underground. Celebrating ten years of existence, the band has grown into a fixture of the Dutch underground scene, known for their fierce, unpolished, and emotionally charged performances. With members carrying histories from various influential acts, Video Store manages to feel both like an evolution of their beloved scene, and something fresh — a band that’s proud of its roots, but very much forward-looking.
