Tamara S (formerly known as Chanté Amour) is a rising R&B artist from Leeds whose soulful sound blends the warmth of neo-soul with the edge of contemporary hip-hop. Singing from childhood and writing songs by eight, she began recording seriously at sixteen, developing an expressive, self-assured voice rooted in emotion and spirituality. Her debut single “Queen of the North” (2018) marked the start of a steadily growing career defined by authenticity. Influenced by Jhené Aiko, Chronixx, Elmiene, and Kehlani, Tamara’s recent releases — “What We Gon’ Do,” “Fast Life,” and “Very Special” — have earned over 400K Spotify streams. She’s performed at Belgrave Music Hall, Brudenell Social Club, and Sound City Festival, sharing stages with Donae’o and KeiyA. Featured on BBC Introducing and BBC 1Xtra, Tamara has received support from Music:Leeds, Rip It Up, and Launchpad (mentored by Simon Rix).
