Lissia is an Afro-Soul singer, songwriter, and storyteller whose music lives at the intersection of emotion, femininity, and truth. Known for her soft yet powerful delivery, she creates music that feels intimate, reflective, and deeply human — soundtracks for late nights, healing moments, and honest love. Her journey began under the creative umbrella of TRYBEL BAND, where she developed her voice not only as a singer, but as a writer and performer. Touring, rehearsing, and performing alongside the band, Lissia sharpened her musical instincts on real stages, in front of real audiences. Those years shaped her understanding of live energy, emotional connection, and the power of storytelling through sound. Her first major breakthrough came unexpectedly during a live performance. While performing an early version of “Shey Nah U”, the response from the audience was immediate and undeniable. The song resonated so strongly that it was later recorded and officially released on TRYBEL BAND’s project “ROOTS OF LOVE.” That moment marked the true beginning of Lissia’s path as a recording artist. After that release, Lissia knew it was time to step fully into her own identity. Stepping out as a solo artist, she began crafting a body of work that reflected her personal experiences — love, longing, doubt, attraction, confidence, and commitment. The result is her debut album WELCOME IN, a cohesive Afro-Soul journey that unfolds like a love story told in chapters.
