Illyria

Illyria have begun the journey to reconnect with their progressive blackgaze origins releasing their fifth full-length album “Artifacts Of A Bygone Era” on 13th November 2026. Their first single “To Reveal The Divine” features a music video that launched on 25th September and their follow-up “Seance” released on the 16th October. The album’s title honours the sounds that shaped the band’s first two albums. Vocalist/Guitarist Ilija Stajic explains “These tracks are a collection of ideas over the years that I had written but never truly had a home”. Stajic furthers “I have always loved the blackgaze sound but I reflect that sometimes, I have over-experimented. This release is significantly easier to digest and it has made me fall in love with the genre again.” There are no hidden messages or a sophisticated nuance, just seven songs that capture the original Illyria sound that all members love and yearn to perform on-stage for many years ahead.
