Antonio McFly Morelli

Antonio Morelli, in art "McFly", is an italian musician and producer of music with jazz-hop, chill, funky and lo-fi sounds. He started to play the guitar in 2006 and two years later he founded the indie pop rock band Baryonyx. During these years he collaborated with other artists especially with Francesco Landucci who works as artistic director for his releases. Alongside his studies, McFly began experimenting with electronic music. In 2018, he launched his solo instrumental project, combining jazz, funk, and breakbeat elements. In this vein, he released the album Sound My Way in 2020. With the single Updown (2021), McFly introduced his first vocal lines into this evolving sound, which culminated in 2022 with Special Guest, a fully sung funky track. Starting in 2024, he began collaborating with the Italian label Soulgem Records, releasing four original instrumental tracks featured in various compilations, including Côte d’Azur Vol. 8 and 9. In 2025, he released By The Night, a five-track EP centered around the theme of the night. The record alternates between vocal and instrumental pieces, blending funk, jazz, and chillout music with an urban lo-fi touch. In November 2025, McFly released the single Jungle Groove, a retro-funk song narrating urban stories from modern cities.
