Indigo Sparke is an Australian-born, US-based singer-songwriter whose music feels like a quiet invocation ~ songs that shimmer between longing and transcendence. Blending elements of folk, indie rock, and atmospheric soundscapes, her work moves like a spell ~ intimate, unguarded, and luminous with emotional depth. With a voice both ancient and immediate, Sparke writes songs that feel deeply personal yet universally felt. Emerging from Sydney’s underground before relocating to the U.S., Sparke first garnered attention with her early releases, leading to international recognition. Her debut album Echo (2021), co-produced by Adrianne Lenker (Big Thief ) and Andrew Sarlo (Big Thief, Bon Iver, Hand Habits), introduced a stark, devotional sound—minimal yet expansive. Her sophomore record Hysteria (2022), produced with Aaron Dessner (The National, Taylor Swift, Gracie Abrams), saw her world widen ~ layered instrumentation and surging arrangements carrying her voice into new emotional terrain. Known for her arresting live performances, Sparke has appeared at NPR’s Tiny Desk, SXSW, Splendour in the Grass, End of the Road Festival, and Into the Great Wide Open. Entering a new chapter of work, Sparke continues to expand her sonic and emotional landscape ~ rooted in transformation, motherhood, and the unseen forces that shape us. Her upcoming release marks a further opening. Bolder, freer ~ reaching toward a light on the horizon, where change, memory, and release converge
