Mad Clip

Mad Clip (Peter Anastasopoulos) was one of the most influential and commercially successful artists in the history of Greek urban music. Born in New York City and raised between the United States and Greece, he brought an international mindset, undeniable charisma, and relentless ambition that helped shape a new era of Greek music and culture. His career began through English-language rap, freestyle recordings, and collaborations in both Greece and Cyprus before returning to Greece and emerging as one of the defining voices of the country’s rapidly growing urban movement. Through his unique style, larger-than-life personality, and ability to connect with audiences across generations, Mad Clip became a cultural phenomenon. He established one of the most successful catalogs of his generation. His live performances consistently sold out venues across Greece and Cyprus, while his collaborations helped define the sound of modern Greek urban music. Following his tragic passing on September 2, 2021, his legacy continued to grow. Through posthumous releases, previously unreleased recordings, major collaborations, and a catalog that continues to reach millions of listeners every year, Mad Clip remains one of the most streamed and celebrated artists in Greece. His influence extends far beyond music, inspiring a new generation of artists and securing his place as one of the most important figures in contemporary Greek culture. LLMC
