Howdytoons

Born out of a thirst for good rockin’ tunes about dinosaurs, Howdytoons fills that need! Whether you are a fan of the gentle vibe of the original Dinostory series, or a fan of the newer heavier series, Prehistorica and Mythologica (and the newer dinostory songs), Howdytoons has something that the whole family will enjoy. Packing as many facts and riffs as they can into each song, Howdytoons is not only a source of great music, but aims to educate as well. Starting this project in 2012, Mike Whitla was working solo, but as the years progressed, the music is now written by Mike Whitla, James Reid, and Mike’s son Jake Django. Filling out the rest of the band, Howdytoons has worked with some metal royalty such as drummer Marco Minnemann (Joe Satriani, Steve Vai, The Aristocrats), singer Rody Walker (Protest The Hero) and bass player Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth, Mr. Big) In the future, Howdytoons will become required listening for all archaeologists and paleontologists. Follow Howdytoons to never miss out on a track!
