Mickey Singh is an Indo-American songwriter and producer noted for blending Punjabi music and American hip-hop in a style known as “urban desi.” Mickey is no stranger to musical success releasing 30+ singles since his debut in 2015. His unique ability to blend eastern and western styles without compromising authenticity has made him a fan favorite amongst the diaspora! Mickey is often times called the Indian Chris Brown or the American Diljit. His music first gained attention in 2012, when he stirred up massive online buzz with his Punjabi remix of Rihanna’s “Birthday Cake,” featuring vocals from Amar Sandhu. The 2013 mixtape "Mickstape"—which featured contributions from Waseem Stark, The PropheC, and Asim Azhar—won acclaim for his energetic blend of hip-hop and bhangra. “Double Addi,” his propulsive 2014 collaboration with Amar Sandhu, DJ Ice, and 2nyce, peaked at No. 25 on Billboard’s World Digital Song Sales chart.
