3 Chord Christian

Born in Fon du Loc, Wisconsin and raised in Arkansas, right out of Bentonville where I went to school most of my grade school years. Family of 6 from my mom Norma and my dad, David Sr. (saved and forgiven but a violent alcoholic guy for a long time). Among my other siblings is "BigED" from 90 day fiance' and two others and two sisters. Self-taught the piano and guitar, played sax for years growing up thanks to my mom who worked as a nurse's aide to get the dough...same matriarch who put me on the Greyhound (see "Upstairs Hoedown" for that story...changed my trajectory. Thank God to get on that bus alone as a teenager and lived in TJ with my Abuelita, drove the border to finish high school, cleaned bathrooms through 5 years at SDSU, graduated and went to work. Did a long stint at both The Home Depot and Walmart (didn't everyone from B'ville?). Been privileged to have been both a public and private company CEO at times and now do my own thing running several successful entrepreneurial ventures. I'm 59 and married to my fantastic wife Tracy now for 33+ years. Three kids, and an empty nester- Mitch (USMA Nuclear Engineer/Officer, Miles (po po in Kennesaw, GA) and Megan (teacher)...great family and so blessed. Not a sad story, but one of faith through it all. Amen.
