Twin Bloom

Twin Bloom is an Oakland indie rock band pulling from 80s new wave, shoegaze and classic guitar pop. Guitars shimmer and blur, melodies land quickly, and close vocal harmonies give the songs a lived-in feel. Influences like Teenage Fanclub, Alvvays and The Cure surface here and there, filtered through years of playing basements and clubs. The writing is patient but keeps moving, built for hazy drives and long summer nights. Their self-titled debut EP, out now on DandyBoy Records, was recorded with Maryam Qudus (Spacemoth, La Luz) at Tiny Telephone. Lead single "Summer's Gone" pairs an easy, driving rhythm with a bittersweet sense of seasonal shift.
