Elijah Hooks

Elijah Hooks began his early career as a musician and producer in Buffalo, NY. Working and collaborating with the up-and-coming underground scene, he opened his own music studio Thinkalot and began developing as a vocalist. By 2018, another Buffalo powerhouse group called Griselda emerged and spawned the careers of Westside Gunn, Conway the Machine, and Benny the Butcher. With a darker, unique approach to mixing and producing, Elijah began intertwining his introspective vocal and writing style to the production of his music. With the success of albums like "Pray For Paris" and Mach Hommy's "Pray for Haiti", he has worked with the likes of artists such as Tyler The Creator, JID, Rick Ross and a long list of industry artists. In 2021, he earned a Grammy nomination for his work with Mach Hommy. Suddenly, there was a mental shift from focusing on the sound development of others to that of his own. A rebranding as Vocalist/Producer has uplifted the spirit and soul of the music to captivate a new space for this generation of sound designers. Vibe up.
