Biography & Metadata

Brandon Redifer grew up in the shadow of the cemetery. Raised at 3001 Edmondson Avenue in Baltimore — an address he would later immortalize in song and in the title of his Edmondson project — Redifer learned early that life and death sit side by side. That proximity shaped everything: a dark, unflinching tone and a pen that treats mortality, struggle, and survival as everyday language. Now based in York, Pennsylvania, the independent artist known as BTR — Be The Richest Never Stopping — has built one of the most relentless catalogs in the underground. In 2026 alone, he released four projects: Edmondson, Bout Mine, Crescendo, and the 21-track Dead Man Walking. All independent. All on his own terms. Versatility is his calling card. Redifer moves between aggressive street records, melodic love songs, and confessional deep cuts without losing the thread — real stories, real meaning, real intention. Whether he's rapping about the cemetery he grew up next to or the future he's building toward, the lyricism stays sharp and the intent stays clear. The motto says it all: history is written by the victor. Brandon Redifer is writing his.
