Dazey and the Scouts

Dazey and the Scouts is a microtonal jazz quartet formed in 2016 in Boston. Young nubiles Lea Jaffe and Brennan Wedl called upon producer and bassist Otto Klammer (Dump Him, Prior Panic and more) to join. The original drummer was known fiend Austin Corona (Lilacs., Subpar, Jean Dawson). After Austin moved to California, the drum throne was taken over by big naturals haver Jack Whelan (Dent, Non-). The Scouts played their last official show in March of 2018, reuniting in 2022 for a one night only sold out reunion show at Elsewhere in Brooklyn. Jaffe (now a vintage instrument dealer in Ridgewood, Queens) has recently begun performing solo music under her own name Lea Jaffe after having done stints in projects ranging from sludge metal (Cowardice) to grunge (Comet) and "noise bluegrass" (Bug Fight). Brennan Wedl, now a full time rocker in Nashville, has been touring the nation high and low with her own solo project (with a new album on the way via ANTI-) touring with the likes of Waxahatchee and MJ Lenderman . Otto can be seen around Boston playing from time to time but is primarily focused on being New England's very best producer out of their studio, New Alliance Studios, for artists like Grace Givertz and Diane Young. The band is not currently active as members live all over the place. Dazey and the Scouts loves and thanks you for listening. Also, Free Palestine (:
