As it is difficult not to feel alone as we evolve in this changing world, Sophie has painted an inclusive universe throughout her musical creation so that we never feel it. Born and raised in Quebec City, inspired by many women in the industry, she decided to stop waiting for opportunities and decided to create her own music in 2019. From a huge show fanatic to a rising up artist, she always designed her work by grounding herself as staying self-conscious, sensitive and thoughtful in telling emotions, stories and melodies with an indie/pop chill vibe. Sophie released her first EP "Not Today" in august 2022 setting the tone of her first steps in the industry. Not Today is a captivating EP that blends elements of indie pop and R&B while exploring themes of mental health, vulnerability, and resilience, showcasing Sophie’s versatility as an artist. Sophie Breton's sophomore project Blues Room is an evocative album that blends indie pop and folk tones creating a dreamy and introspective soundscape. Released in October 2024, the album explores themes of self-reflection, nostalgia and emotional release offering a deep dive into personal experiences, wounds from the past and the complexities of human connection. Shortly after it’s release, this timeless album became a landmark project in Sophie's young career, having reached the hearts of thousands of listeners around the world while being added to the Rolling Stone Español list as an "Artist to keep on your radar".
