Biography & Metadata
Swanky is a Brooklyn-born producer, DJ, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist of Jamaican descent. A first-generation American from East New York, his sound sits at the intersection of hip-hop, R&B, Afrobeats, and soul — shaped equally by the streets of Brooklyn and the rhythms of St. Thomas, Jamaica. He is one half of The Bashmen alongside Jidenna, whose debut album dropped in 2025. His production has been featured in NFL Super Bowl programming, NBA playoff broadcasts, ESPN's NBA Countdown, and Amazon campaigns, with over 50 million streams worldwide.
